De structuur bestaat doorgaans uit verschillende belangrijke functionele gebieden:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Uitlaatgebied<\/strong>: Dit is het inlaatgedeelte waar verontreinigde lucht of procesuitlaatgassen de oxidator binnenkomen. De gasstroom wordt doorgaans, indien nodig, voorgefilterd voordat deze de verbrandingskamer ingaat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Verbrandingsgebied<\/strong>: Ook wel verbrandingskamer genoemd. Hier worden de vluchtige organische stoffen geoxideerd bij hoge temperaturen (meestal tussen 700 en 900 \u00b0C). Een brander of verwarmingssysteem wordt gebruikt om de gewenste temperatuur te initi\u00ebren en te handhaven.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Regeneratief gebied<\/strong>: Dit gedeelte bevat keramische warmtewisselaars die ontworpen zijn om warmte uit het gereinigde gas te absorberen en op te slaan. De regeneratieve kamers wisselen tussen verwarmings- en koelcycli om de thermische effici\u00ebntie te maximaliseren en het brandstofverbruik te verlagen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Distributiegebied<\/strong>Kleppen en dempers sturen de stroom uitlaatgas door de keramische mediabedden. Dit zorgt voor een goede verdeling en effici\u00ebnte warmte-uitwisseling tussen de inkomende vervuilde lucht en de gereinigde uitgaande lucht.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rijgebied<\/strong>: Dit verwijst doorgaans naar de schakelkast of het PLC-paneel van het systeem, dat de schakelkleppen, de branderbediening en de veiligheidsvoorzieningen automatiseert.
